AIMS
& OBJECTIVES:
CSU as an association promotes spiritual growth
among members through bible sharing, spiritual talk, retreats, recollections,
novenas, Blessed Sacrament adoration. We strive to inculcate the spirit of
selfless service in members, in addition to a true spirit of leadership and followership.
We encourage members to take active interest in the social and moral welfare of
our individual churches and the Catholic Church as a whole as well as endeavor
to act as a support group to one another, both in spiritual and temporal
matters.
BRIEF
HISTORY: CSU was founded in 1994 under the direction of
Rev. Fr. Kelvin McGarry (SMA), the then parish priest of St Agnes Catholic
Church, Maryland, Lagos. He observed that a number of young Catholic women
yearned for deeper knowledge of faith, spiritual growth and more involvement in
the church. Unfortunately the existing associations in the church did not quite
address this yearning. Thus some of them were leaving the church to the new
generation.

We hold our meetings every Sundays after 8.30am
